have you tried an electric toothbrush before?

If you’ve been following my stories you know I posted about my experience with the cariPRO electronic toothbrush recently. I had never used an electric toothbrush before so I was so excited to try it out. I have had an amazing experience coming from a girl who always used the toothbrushes from her dentist…. lol

Smile Brilliant is known as one of the most honest and reputable teeth whitening companies on the market. They just released the cariPRO Ultrasonic electric toothbrush and I wanted to share my thoughts!

First off - it has 5 modes: clean, white, massage, gum care, and sensitive. This makes it easy to personalize depending on what is going on with your teeth/mouth. Sometimes you just want to freshen up or make sure they’re getting clean. Other times you may want to check in on your gums - the gum care is so important! Also, who doesn’t want a massage in their mouth!?

So my FAVORITE thing about this electric toothbrush is that each brushing mode is designed to operate for two minutes, with brief pauses between each 30 second burst. That brief pause tells you to move to a different quadrant of the mouth and makes it SO easy for me to brush the actual time I’m supposed to instead of getting distracted or feeling like it was “enough time” when it wasn’t. I love being able to choose which mode I want depending on how I feel. I recently had gum grafting surgery so it was important for me to use the sensitive mode when I could start brushing those areas again.

I feel so much better about my brushing habits now. I seriously didn’t know how much of a difference it could make. You’re technically supposed to throw out a normal toothbrush every 3 months (also if you don’t.. ew think about how much bacteria is on there!!) so if you think about the $ you could save on an electric toothbrush vs a regular one - you’re being smart. Plus, coming from someone who just went through gum surgery - take care of your mouth!! Mine was hereditary/caused by my braces.. but still. No one wants to get a heavy bill from the dentist. Also, it comes with a small and sleek charging stand so I never have to worry about it looking messy or weird on our cute bathroom sink!
