Into the woods (can't wait for the movie).. 4 more days until Christmas !! I drove home with my sister last night and am so glad to be home and feelin' the holiday spirit. Home for me does not mean winter wonderland or fields of white or woods..(its 65 degrees) but a girl can dream and appreciate all the love a family can give. Texas forever…
I love the idea of winter white. I like mixing different shades of white > like onyx, ivory, and champagne..this shoot was a holiday in the forest with a splash of winter wonderland in my mind. This casual cotton sweater by We The Free in oatmeal heather has a perfectly worn in feel and makes for easy layering with it's hi-lo hem. It comes in a ton of colors - layering dreams - and it is seriously ridiculously comfy. I love layering it over dresses like this chic metallic mini from H&M and pairing it with unexpected pieces in the same color family. This faux fur vest has a sweater-knit back and is perfect for a casual look or night out. These long socks are from urban outfitters and the booties are Zara from last winter (I have both in black too hehe). I cheated on gold (AHH I still feel buyer's remorse) for a moment and fell in love with this Free People silver chunky necklace. It seriously makes a simple white tank look full of winter solstice and moonshine. ITS A GEM. But…. stay gold and shimmer on... MERRY almost Christmas !!! Xx
