Featuring cute BEEHIVE BOUTIQUE and my life updates....
Hey GUYS!
I'm pumped to be writing again!! IT'S BEEN 5+ MONTHS HELP.... (eye rolls).. life happens right?
FIRST OF ALL.... I FELL IN LOVE. I met my husband-to-be and WE GOT ENGAGED on July 1st!! So exciting!!!!.. I LOVE it. BLAKE ALLEN I LOVE YOU. I'm extremely emotional and so like anything that is a big life change (finding THE one) has been overly emotional and like my life is every emoji all the time. God has blessed us with amazing family and friends that have supported us through this season and loved us through all the ups and downs.
It's been one heck of a year. Let me start off by saying..I got engaged, I moved, traveled for 3 weeks, quit my job, and started a new job all in the course of like 2 months SOOOO I was a little bit busy and totally excited/anxious/heavy heart/scared/pumped about all things all the time with so many emotions and it all happened so fast but I wouldn't change a thing. All of this to say... I HAVEN'T forgotten you guys nor have I lost my love for fashion and sharing it with my peeps so that is why this is even more important to me right now! I have had some deep thought over where I want my atlas to go... a lot of it has steered toward businesses and designers who focus on giving back. Therefore, I really like to spiral down the Instagram rabbit hole and find cool companies/designers/non-profits/ethical brands that are doing something bigger and better for our world and communities. This is why I LOVE local brands and shops. I hope to be better about sharing the amazing people behind these names we love and wear. There are so many freakin' creative geniuses out there that deserve a lot more credit and praise and I hope to be a little voice in a sea of a million style bloggers that helps point you towards them. I have a heart for those who fight for what is right, true, humble, good, noble, loving... and I want to support more ethical brands - it is a slowwww--slow process for a girl who lived off $18 an hour for 2+ years but my closet is slowly steering away from fast fashion and moving toward ethically conscious brands that tell you where their clothes are made and how. This is extremely hard in a culture that literally lives through a "right here, right now" lense. People always me where I shop.. but the thing is I mix and match new and old and it makes my look extremely affordable and easy to attain. I want to help you and inspire you to mix and match new with "old" and still have fun with trends.
Holiday season is HERE. Small biz Saturday is my favorite. Happy shopping :)

I had so much fun meeting my wedding photographer (Kaytee Lauren) ! She came down with her husband to visit Austin and we did a little style shoot to get to know each other while she was here.. so fun to work with and obviously I recommend her for ANYTHING. She is AMAZING. We ended up doing dinner at Eberly like a little double date so she could get to know Blake (my fiance) too. It was perfect. Also... if you haven't been to Eberly... GO.
