Happy weekend friends!
I just wanted to post these fun images of this cool romper by Honey Punch from Dylan Wylde. I like a simple base to mix and match with denim/hats/accessories. This romper was perfect to pair with a denim jacket (linked more below) and cute white tennis shoes from Zara. I am a sucker for gold hoops and any dainty gold accessories so I linked some of my favorites below like these gold Madewell hoops I wear almost every day! A denim jacket is a necessity in every girl's closet! I love to pair it with a dress to make it casual with tennis. Gold hoops make a statement but also match almost any outfit. Go for a smaller hoop with an outfit with print and bigger if you are wearing basics. I was walking around and working at the coffee shop so the hat and romper with cute tennis shoes was a comfy combo. Nothing says "Texas" more than a hat and denim jacket... ;)
On a more serious note.. I've been feeling down about all the Hurricane Harvey posts and photos and feeling like donating isn't enough but I read this by Fabs and it really moved me. I want to remind you of something my friend Fabs sad, that "people deserve help because they are people." They are families, daughters, brothers, sons, dads, moms, kids, sisters, friends, humans... the disaster happened and it has affected all of us. We are #TexasStrong. I am a Texan today more than ever and have married a fellow Texan and have tons of friends in Houston and it just makes it all feel closer to home. It could've happened to any of us, it could have happened here in Austin or in my hometown Brownsville. I want to encourage you to reach out and research any store/shop/brand/company donating and help raise funds for relief.
Here are some links to different spots to donate or that are making stuff to donate proceeds >>

We are called to help one another and it might be sunny here in Austin but Houston and the surrounding areas will need help months to come. The damage is heartbreaking and so many have lost SO much. But, there is hope. It is so beautiful to watch complete strangers jump in the water to save others and rescue them in boats and carry pets out of their flooding homes. Let's continue to hope in a God who makes all things new.. who moves mountains and changes hearts and brings people to life. He is with us through the floods..
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." Isaiah 43:2
Hope your weekend is full of light and love.. I am so grateful you stopped by. I am going home for the weekend to be with family in Brownsville, go to the beach, and attend our wedding fiesta my parents are throwing for us! I can't wait to squeeze all my people and hug them harder bc they've been heavy on my heart. love yall.
